
Advertising on the Danish Rail systems, Pepsi hopes to get consumers engaged through a 2d campaign using ScanBuy technology. A scan of a 2d code on the Pepsi poster would get consumer access to a coupon yielding a free Pepsi Max and information about a concert that Pepsi is sponsoring in Copenhagen this September.
Pepsi seem to have taken 2d/QR codes to heart, as we saw them a while back printing 2d/QR codes on 200 million cans in Europe. This is an easy straightforward way to show consumers how 2d/QR codes can be used. I have been waiting for a while for this industry to really break through in Europe. Get creative and think about how scanning codes makes sense in the campaign you are planning.
